The 81 year old singer began performing when he was a teenager with his brother Ira in the hugely influential duo, the Louvin Brothers. After his brother’s tragic death in 1965, he continued on as a solo artist. The Louvin Brothers rich, two part harmonies inspired everyone from the Everly Brothers to the Byrds and Emmylou Harris. He is a piece of living country music history, which makes this a must-see show. Los Angeles country music staples Mike Stinson and Frank Fairfield are supporting.
