Chad Vangaalen
We stopped by the Chad Vangaalen/Women/The Boat People show at Spaceland on Saturday night. It was a solid evening of music from an international assortment of bands: Vangaalen and Women hail from Canada, while The Boat People made their way over to LA from Australia. Check out more photos after the jump.

Dan Auerbach- Trouble Weighs A Ton
Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys with his Uncle James Quine performs “Trouble Weighs A Ton” from his debut solo record, Keep It Hid (out now on Nonesuch Records).

Strand of Oaks (aka Timothy Showalter) has just announced a tour that will take him around the Eastern and Midwestern portions of the US. He’s touring in support of his full-length release, Leave Ruin, which came out January 27 via La Société Expéditionnaire. Showalter also shared his “Top 10 Songs to Stare at His Velvet Pegasus Painting” with us back in February, which was a magical little collection of tunes by Chet Atkins, John Renbourn, Wendy (Walter) Carlos and more. If you missed the mixtape, you can click here to check it out. The complete tour dates and a video of him performing “Two Kids” are after the jump.

Tune in to hear music by the Felice Brothers, Blue Giant, Megafaun, Dark Meat, Dan Auerbach and more.
Neil Young and Waylon Jennings- Are You Ready For The Country

We are giving away three (3) pairs of tickets to see Jason Isbell (ex- Drive-by Truckers) and Justin Townes Earle on Tuesday, April 2nd at Spaceland.
