Leslie and the Badgers – It’s Okay to Trip feat Olin and the Moon
Tune into Little Radio today from 2-4 pm (PST) for the “When You Awake Show.” We are dedicating this week’s episode to Bob Dylan and all of the amazing covers that I couldn’t fit on to last week’s Bob Dylan Goes Twang: Part 4 Mixtape. Tune in to check out Dylan covers (that have yet to appear on one of our mixtapes!) by Kitty Wells, Waylon Jennings, Beau Brummels, Johnny Cash, Jeff Buckley and more.
The Byrds-You Ain’t Goin’ Nowhere
The Byrds performing “You Ain’t Goin’ Nowhere” on Hugh Hefner’s Playboy After Dark tv show on September 9, 1968. The lineup was Roger McGuinn, Gene Parsons, John York and Clarence White.
For the latest edition of our Twang Series, we once again return to the great Bob Dylan. Dylan Goes Twang: Part Four features cover tunes by The Beatles, Van Morrison, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Taj Mahal and more. Be sure to check out Part One, Part Two and Part Three if you missed them.
Jeannie C. Riley – Harper Valley PTA

My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James, using the pseudonym Yim Yames, is set to release a George Harrison Tribute EP entitled Tribute To. The record features two Harrison songs from his time in the Beatles while the other four are taken from Harrison’s masterpiece, All Things Must Pass. He apparently recorded the EP shortly after Harrison’s death in 2001 and finally decided to release it 8 years later. The record is set to be released August 4, 2009 via ATO Records, but for those of you who can’t wait, they will be releasing the entire EP via download on YimYames.com starting July 7. A portion of the proceeds from the EP will go to benefit the Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary. James’ take on “Behind That Locked Door”, which appears on the EP, also appeared on our George Harrison Goes Twang mixtape back in May. If you missed the mix, click here to check it out.
Tribute To Tracklist:
1 Long, Long, Long
2 Behind That Locked Door
3 Love You To
4 My Sweet Lord
5 Ballad of Sir Frankie Crisp (Let It Roll)
6 All Things Must Pass
