Monsters of Folk, the long rumored collaborative album comprised of Bright Eyes’ Conor Oberst and Mike Mogis, My Morning Jacket’s Jim James and singer/songwriter M. Ward , has finally received a release date. The self-titled effort will be released September 22nd via Shangri-La Music in the US, on Rough Trade in the UK/Europe, Spunk Records in Australia/New Zealand and P-Vine Records in Japan. While the quartet has previously toured and performed together, this will be their first recorded outing as a group. Tracklisting is after the jump.
