Exactly one year has passed since I first posted this Mystery Song on When You Awake and the mystery has yet to be solved. So on the anniversary of my first inquiry, I decided to put it out there again and ask you to give it another listen.

Any thoughts or guesses as to who it may be?

The history: I put the following tune on a Mixtape about 8 years ago and have absolutely no recollection of where I got it from or who it is by, though I have a sneaking suspicion that this was back from the days of Napster. At this point, the following methods have been used to no avail: lyric searches in Google, attempts to guess the name of the track and then searching Google and Itunes and finally, looking at the mp3 and seeing if the info is embedded into the actual file. The only other lead I can give you is that at the time I was listening to and acquiring a lot of Incredible String Band, Pentangle, and Elephant Six stuff (Neutral Milk Hotel, Olivia Tremor Control, etc). Iphone users, wanna give it a go on that “Name That Tune” device?

While we are speaking of hard to find things, anyone happen to have the 1970 record by Harlan County (aka the band formally known as The Koobas)?
