We are giving away three (3) pairs of tickets to attend the 4th Annual Joshua Tree Roots Music Festival this weekend! The two-day festival takes place at the Joshua Tree Lake Campgrounds and features performances by When You Awake favorites Deer Tick, O’Death, Froniter Ruckus, The Sadies, Alela Diane and many more.  To win tix, e-mail whenyouawakela @ gmail.com (subject: Joshua Tree Roots) and tell us your favorite song that mentions the desert. Include your first and last name in the email. Three winners will be chosen and notified. Tickets for the festival are $70 for a two-day pass, $50 for Saturday, $30 for Sunday (if you purchase in advance) or $80 for a two-day pass, $60 for Saturday and $40 for Sunday (if you buy at the gate).
