J. Tillman Sings ‘Tonight’s The Night’
Filed under: Blog Love | Posted by:

The fine folks over at Aquarium Drunkard have put together quite the treat for us Neil Young fans (yes, I realize it’s turning into Neil Young Week here at When You Awake). J. Tillman, who is a wonderful solo artist that also performs with the Fleet Foxes, has covered Young’s 1975 record Tonight’s the Night in its entirety. You can hear all of the tracks for free over at Aquarium Drunkard. Click here to check it out.

Yikes, it’s terrible. Neil rolled over in his grave and he ain’t even dead. Tillman really misses it here.

I’m a 55 year old who’s been listening to the original for over 30 years and I loved this straight-from-the-heart rendition. Now I’ll be listening to this for the next 30 years (i hope).
