Free MP3s from Akron/Family, Middle Brother and The Moondoggies

Middle Brother (formally known as MG&V), the group consisting of Taylor Goldsmith of Dawes, John McCauley of Deer Tick and Matthew Vasquez of Delta Spirit, has finally announced a release date for their debut record together. The full album will be released on March 1, 2011 via Partisan Records and you can hear the first tune from it, “Me Me Me”, below.

“So It Goes” is the first single from Akron/Family’s new album, S/T II: The Cosmic Birth and Journey of Shinju TNT, which is due out this February via Dead Oceans. The group has also announced a string of US tour dates, which you can check out after the jump.

Finally,  we have a track from Seattle’s Moondoggies from their record Tidelands, which was released this past October. The group recently got off tours with Blitzen Trapper and Dawes and are gearing up for their first ever headlining tour this month. Tour dates are after the jump.
