For something a little different, NPR’s First Listen is streaming Eddie Vedder’s second solo album “Ukulele Songs” for your listening pleasure.  This cleverly titled album features Vedder accompanied by his, you guessed it, ukulele. The simplicity of the instrument along with his voice works better than you might think. Grunge Hawaiian Folk music at its best. There’s even a cover of the Steve Martin/ Bernadette Peters classic “Tonight You Belong To Me” (yeah, yeah, I know it was written in 1926 by Billy Rose and Lee David and covered by a million people but Martin owned it…). Give it a listen for free here.
