Pando Daily

Note from the Editor: If you’re curious to hear about what I’ve been up to the last couple of months (and have questioned why my tweets have contained an unusually high volume of tech-related content), I’ve been hard at work on a brand new startup here in London called The Backscratchers. It’s a project collaboration and research sharing website for creatives, where you can find individuals and companies willing to connect and collaborate on projects. It’s built around the idea of ‘you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours’, except,  in this case, it’s ‘you work on my project, I’ll help you with yours.’ On the site we exchange skills, materials, space and networks, helping to make cool projects, whether it’s recording an album, shooting a video or starting a new company happen.

The website is launching in beta in the next few weeks (I will let you know what it’s up!), but in the meantime,  the wonderful Pando Daily just wrote an article that I was featured in. In it, I talk about what it’s like to be a music blogger working in the tech world in London and some of the cool people that I’ve met and interesting things that I’ve gotten to do since I’ve arrived.  Please take a minute to check it out and then sign up for The Backscratchers mailing list so you can be one of the first to test out the new platform. Thanks to Hamish McKenzie for the interview!
