The 14th annual fest is set to take place over the weekend of August 3-5 just outside of Portland, Oregon at Pendarvis Farm. As always, this year’s line-up is beyond amazing – country, bluegrass, folk, Americana and good old rock and roll from When You Awake favorites Dr. Dog, Phosphorescent, Kitty Daisy & Lewis, Langhorne Slim, CW Stoneking, AA Bondy and many more.

Nick will be checking in with some photos, interviews and more – sharing the experience of this one of kind festival with all of you! In the meantime, check out a few of the groups that we are really excited to check out after the jump. Note: If you don’t have tickets yet, what are you waiting for? Hop a train, plane, bus and head on over. Seriously, having gone to festivals the world over, Pickathon is one festival that is actually worth it (read our review from Pickathon 2009 for evidence). A limited number of tix are still available here.
